Mouse actions

These mouse actions provide quick access to common tasks. Move the pointer over a control to read the contextual help in PSYSCOPE.

Sound	Left-click	Select the individual sound view.
Sound	Right-click	Toggle the sound's enabled state.
layers	Right-click	Show or hide the sum behind the layers.
stack	Right-click	Show or hide the sum at the top.
Group selector	Wheel	Change the group.
Map: group name	Double-click	Edit the group's name and color.
Map: sound cell	Drag	Exchange positions; move when the destination is empty.
Map: sound cell	Ctrl + drag to an empty cell in another group	Create a linked instance copy.
Map: copy cell	Right-click	Delete that copy.
Map: existing sound cell	Double-click	Select its individual view and close the panel.
Sets: cell	Right-click	Store the group, enabled sounds and display selection.
Sets: another nonempty cell	Left-click	Recall its stored comparison.
Sets: cell	Double-click	Edit its name and color.
Sets: cell	Drag to another cell	Swap the Sets, including names and colors.
Duration	Wheel	Change the beat interval or Hz value.
Channel selector	Left-click	Open channel choices.
Channel selector	Right-click	Toggle the dual-channel arrangement.
Channel selector	Wheel	Cycle through channel choices.
Scale value	Vertical drag / wheel	Adjust display scale; Ctrl makes the adjustment finer.
Scale value	Right-click	Reset display scale.
Scale value	Double-click	Scale according to the peak.
Waveform view	Middle-button vertical drag	Adjust display scale; Ctrl makes the adjustment finer.
Waveform area	Left-button double-click	Toggle waveform-only / waveform + FFT.
FFT area	Left-button double-click	Toggle FFT-only / waveform + FFT.
Waveform view	Alt + left-button drag	Measure a region; zoom to it on release.
Waveform view	Ctrl + left-button drag	Measure a region without zooming on release.
lat	Right-click	Reset the applicable alignment offset.
lat	Vertical drag / wheel	Adjust the selected sound's offset in individual view, or the global offset in sum/layers/stack; Ctrl gives finer adjustment.
lat	Double-click	Enter an alignment correction in samples or milliseconds.
freeze	Left-click	Freeze or resume buffering.
freeze	Right-click	Export WAV.
clear	Right-click	Clear all buffers.
FFT	Left-click	Open frequency-analysis settings.
FFT	Wheel	Cycle waveform / combined / spectrum views.
Img	Left-click	Toggle the spectrogram image display.
show	Click	Open display options and analysis submenus.
meters	Right-click	Open meters options.
Camera icon	Left-click	Capture the editor image.
Camera icon	Right-click	Show or hide the stored snapshot.
