Presets and Switcher

Program toolbar

Control Action
Program name Open the program list
< / > Load the previous or next program in the list
W Write a program to disk
init Initialize the program
undo / redo Step through editing history

Programs use .pgm files. Save your work before loading another program or using init. The program menu also provides a file chooser for loading from a different folder.

Switcher slots

The Switcher provides twelve labelled slots, C through B, for storing and recalling variations.

Gesture on a slot Action
Right-click Save the current state to the slot
Left-click Load the stored state
Middle-click Clear the slot memory
Ctrl + double-click Rename the slot and change its colour

Store with right-click before recalling with left-click. Clearing a slot removes its stored variation.

MIDI switching

The Switcher's MIDI option lets incoming notes on channel 1 trigger corresponding note-labelled slots. Enable it to recall variations from a controller or host MIDI track. Host routing must deliver the notes to PsyPhaZ.

Keep a saved program file as the durable copy of your work; slot recall is a performance and comparison tool.

Native interface captures

These images use the actual PsyPhaZ 1.1.05 editor with the same reproducible stereo audio example. Click an image to open it at full size.
